2012 Merlot-Cabernet LA PASTIÈRE

The mountain grapes from Mount Veeder, the cool climate, longer time to ripen, and our respectful winemaking have created this opulent Merlot rich in color and flavors of complex fruit, wild blackberries, violet, and spice, vanilla from the oak aging.

This Merlot is full, deep, intensely fruity and soft. A true mountain grown jewel.

Our Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon brings the elegance, dark cassis aromas and the gorgeous structure that enables great longevity.

For many, our La Pastière is the ultimate  wine with complex and round mouthfeel plus the perfect structure to hold everything together.

This wine with will elevate any elaborate dinner with a handsome piece of meat, or a simple gathering with chicken, rich fish, cheese, creamy pasta, many vegetarian foods:  you’ll have a winning pairing.

Dare to serve it with a really good quality Hamburger or Pizza (avoid tomato sauce in excess).  That’s what we’ve done and loved the match.
